An update from Perry May–
The ATV MN State Board of Directors approved the proposal by NWRATA to host the 2027 ATV MN State Convention / Ride & Rally, on September 17-19, 2027 in Aitkin Minnesota. The Aitkin County Fairgrounds will be used as the headquarters for this event.
During the NWRATA meeting on 10/7/26, members agreed to have a minimum of 4 club volunteers to help facilitate this event. (If all 13 clubs participate this could mean 52 volunteers. What is needed now is someone to step forward to be the event organizer/chair person. This could also be a paid position. There are numerous committees to fill which include:

General Membership Meeting
State Board of Directors Meetings
Saturday Guided Rides /Permits / Police escorts / Safe City Routes
Parking
Lodging /Camping
Food
Sponsors
Fundraising (Raffles and/or Auctions)
Communications / Flyers / Announcements
Entertainment
Meeting Space
Registration / Website
Volunteer Coordination
Picture / Video
This is an ATVMN fundraiser, and a percentage of the proceeds will be shared to the alliance. These proceeds could be used to pay for future NWRATA dues, Expo costs, Marketing, special projects, etc. This event can be used to replace the NWRATA annual Axtell Ride-In event for 2027. This will be a great event to show off all of the alliance clubs, their trails, and hopefully sign-up new members
